However, in 2005, while working on a medical education film, Howard’s interest shifted towards the broader possibilities of technology in healthcare. This newfound passion led to the creation of LifeWIRE, a cloud-based communication platform aimed at improving health engagement. Over the years, Howard’s work in healthcare technology has earned him multiple patents (eight so far) and recognition, including being named a Rockefeller Foundation Top 100 Next Century Innovator.

Her mother’s battle with cancer became the catalyst that led her to focus on cancer care. This life-altering event pushed Samara into the healthcare industry with a clear goal: to create meaningful change in the way patients, especially cancer patients, are treated.
Tanya Fasnacht Jolliffe
Tanya Fasnacht Jolliffe’s journey into the healthcare industry began during her college years, where she attended on a volleyball scholarship at an NCAA Division II college that later transitioned to NAIA. She majored in dietetics, initially considering a focus on sports nutrition. However, it was during her internship that her interest shifted towards clinical nutrition and nutrition therapy, sparking a lifelong passion for improving patient care through diet and lifestyle management.
